Samsung Galaxy S8
As usual Samsung will launch its flagship device early this year, Samsung Galaxy S8. We have heard some rumors and leaks regarding the new Samsung flagship device. Those rumors includes its bezel-less display, dual camera module and fingerprint scanner embedded on its display and 4K display which support VR. However, we may or may not see all features until the actual release on 18th April 2017.
AMOLED display Youtube videos
Early this January, Samsung Display YouTube account had uploaded two promotional videos about AMOLED display fully in Korean language. The mysterious smartphone that were used on this promotional video is however similar to some of those rumors that has been floating around for the past few months.
The display is stunning with the minimal top and bottom bezels. It is rather convincing because the design is in line with the previous leaks from GSMArena and Olixar Ultra. Thus, we would be getting a slightly larger display due to its curved and bezel-less screen. Some leaks suggest that we might not have the 2 capacitive button and the home button below the screen. Probably, the new Galaxy S8 will have a fingerprint scanner embedded within the screen. If it is true, this smartphone will be a game-changer in the smartphone industry and the first of its kind to to have this technological implementation.
Ghostex Atomic 3 casing for Samsung Galaxy S8
Ghostex, a mobile accessories company has released its Atomic 3 casing for Samsung Galaxy S8. According to the rendering images, the volume rocker and the power buttons are located at the right side of the it. Yet another drastic physical change from the previous one, Galaxy S7. Moreover, the camera is only a single camera module which is different from the rumor. We cannot confirm that the Galaxy S8 will still have 3.5mm audio jack port and USB type-C port from this images. It is uncertain.
We believe that this images is close to the actual smartphone as it is probably a physical prototype version. All manufacturers usually send out some form of dummies to the casing company to make them ready for the launching of the device. After all, nothing is solid as yet. This may or may not happen but you should expect it is something like this.
